C/O 2011 High School Seniors!

Melissa got her glam on!

When I shot Shayla's wedding, I met her oh so fab stylist Melanie Pace. She's not only a stylist, but a personal shopper and has styled many magazine editorial spreads. She was needing some updated portfolio pieces for her website, so I was of course thrilled to shoot those photos for her!

Turns out our model, Melissa, just graduated from high school, so it was awesome to give her some hot Senior shots as well! While most girls are heading to college after graduation, Melissa is heading to China on Sunday because she got signed by a modeling agency overseas and will be rockin' that. She was such a natural and I'm sure one day I'll be able to say I was one of the first to get my camera on her!

Welcome to my brand new blog makeover! But wait, there's more...

So. Something I've never told anyone.

I played Barbies way longer than my girlfriends knew.

Though it was no longer cool to play in middle school, I totally would in secret.

I couldn't help it. I loved dressing them up in all the different outfits, fixing their hair, giving them makeovers, and, oh man, the drama between Barbie & Ken. Somedays I think I should have been a screenwriter with the great soap operas I would come up with.

Then my mom got me one of those big Barbie heads, and I had so much fun applying her fake make up and styling her hair. It was all downhill though when my crimping iron totally fried her fake hair and ruined it for good. Whoops.

So when Sarah got out of the car ready for her Sweet 16 photoshoot, I got so excited to play with a lifesize Barbie doll! From her perfect blonde curls, big green eyes and the most adorable black and white and hot pink Jessica McClintock bowtie dress, I just adored how she was wearing my branding colors!

We had fun walking around downtown for her fashion shoot. She's done some modeling in NYC, so she was complete natural in front of the camera! Her cousins Lindsey and Jordan also tagged along and it was a fun reunion with Lindsey who I graduated high school with.
