Loyalty.

I am always amazed by the kindness of strangers.

I don't know a lot of you here who read my blog, yet a lot of you have proved to be so loyal and kind. I know you like looking at my photography, but more importantly, you have always been there when it really counts in my personal life. Like last year when I lost a special aunt of mine, or I had my scare with breast cancer, or when my world was falling apart like running against a windstorm, or even now with the previous blog entry admitting I was wrong about something I thought I was so sure about. You always leave the most encouraging comments a blogger could ask for, and your emails pour in letting me know you are praying for me. You embrace my human flaws and my vulnerabilities in the times I am scared or have made a mistake. You allow me to write from my heart and be open to a world I can't see waiting on the other side of my computer screen. And though I don't know most of you, and our friendship is only virtual, I know in full confidence that your love and your prayers are real.

For that, I thank you.

I am absolutely ASTOUNDED by the overwhelming love and support you have received in your time of crisis. Once again TRUTH RULES as evidenced by over one thousand people who have reached out to you in just one day, logging on, sending you countless emails, commenting on your blog entry and calling you with encouragement. They know the truth of who you are and all you represent in God’s name.

I applaud you in honoring yourself and living your life according to God’s directives. It is not an easy path to choose. I am proud of how you handled an extremely difficult (and scary) situation with grace and honesty. The truth is all that matters. And in the end, it will set you free. Onward and upward to the beautiful surprises that wait ahead! Life is a gift. Live

You have shared yourself with so many & I think you are very courageous in doing so. God will lead you to your perfect Prince in time.

Keep your chin up and keep smiling, it's contagious!

I never thought I'd be so loyal to a blog or even care about a complete stranger - but you are so...REAL. It's like being addicted to...Sex and the City! :) I'm coming to Florida on Thur. with my mom, sisters and aunt for a big girly trip (we'll be in Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and then making a trip to Miami) and SO wish we were going to be near you - it would be so cool to meet you in person - I feel like I know you already! :) Hang in there! God is SO GOOD!

Encouragement is great. Just be sure that you don't let people put you on a "feelings" mountain top. God is not about our feelings. He is about our well being. The hardest times I have gone through (like when I had a hysterectomy, went to work part time, my dog died, and my husband left me, all within six weeks) have taken me to a place where God was REALLY real to me. Of course, it took Him a couple of years to repair me. But what a journey. Just me and God.
It all takes time.

Mom- Thanks for always being there for me!

Lori- Yeah, it's not easy all the time, but I would rather live a life of courage than settling.

Heather- Awww you are so sweet. Thanks for allowing me to keep it real. I so wish you gals were going to be closer so we could meet. Hopefully another day soon our paths will cross!

Anonymous- I totally agree. Thank goodness that God isn't a God of feelings and that we can always rely on HIS truth to get us through the hard times. I love too how He uses the hard times to bring us that much closer to His love and intimacy and His ultimate plans for our lives. I've learned to stop questioning the pain and instead look for the purpose in it. And even better, how good He is to send friends to love us and encourage us with His love in those times.

Sarah Louise- Sniff, sniff, I feel so blessed to have been allowed the opportunity to not only shoot your wedding, but get to know you personally through the process. You too are one of the sweetest spirits I have met! And I loved finally meeting the rest of your family this weekend and being surrounded with all the love your family so graciously gives. Thank YOU for being a blessing to me.

I agree with anonymous, he brought me through some storms in my life and without him by my side and me being in the REAL moment with my Saviour I wouldn't have learned the lesson he was teaching me at the time.
Your gorgeous, your young and he has a plan for you so enjoy your life and don't rush what he wants to give you sweetie, it'll come when you least expect it. I'm keeping you in my prayers.
Enjoy your real time with him and go out there and Live, Laugh, and Love.

It's more than photography, it's a community. That is one of the greatest blessing about this business. I've noticed people really support each other rather than being cut-throat like so many in the industry. We are just blessed that you humbly share you heart with us and let each of us take part in your journey.

Sometimes God brings us to places only to teach us something we wouldn't have learned any other way...the thing to remember is that He is with you always, through ALL things. I believe that everything has a purpose in God's plan for our lives...(even me being here to read your blog all the time...God uses you to speak things to me, so thank you!)

Hang in there! God has a wonderful journey planned for you life...
