Photos that get overlooked....
As I put in my new blog header above, PASSIONATE is one of the things that I love for my photos to display of my couples. I love documenting that emotion, that very thing that made each bride and groom fall in love with each other.
Sometimes it's in their kiss.
Sometimes in the way they hold each other's hands.
Sometimes it's in their laugh.
Sometimes it's simply in the way they look at each other like here with Cara and Drew.
And this picture just perfectly captures that. These are the kind of pictures that I love to strip the color from and turn to black and white because the emotion in the picture says it all.

Wow...I love that picture. Their passionate expressions are so intense. :)

Yeah don't overlook the classic poses. I'm all about converting to grayscale to find the most vintage of emotions. Very Brassai, this one! But all Scarlett. Reminds me of this one::

I'm fascinated by the old-school photographers, who shot all in b/w until the 60s or so. The digital revolution can learn SOOOOO much from "the Masters" of the 20th century. And even earlier.
Ooooh cool. I like that vintage pic! Yeah I'm fascinated by film photographers too. Funny, that's why I didn't get into photographer earlier in life, b/c any time I tried to play around with manual film cameras, I always got so frustrated not being able to see what I was doing with all those f/stop and shutter speeds! But I agree there is a lot we can learn from history and the masters of photography!
Awesome pic!! Love it!
Oh yea, I LOVE this one. How could you have ever overlooked it. THis leads me to believe there are many more brilliant photos hiding on your computer drives, just waiting to be seen by everyone!
Ashley- LOL, good question, makes me wonder too if I have overlooked others in my harddrives. :-)
I'm moving this comment to the correct entry for Nancy! :-)

We are all speachless... jaw-dropping, emotional, raw, gorgeous!! We love to see the "final product" hair, makeup, the colors... INCREDIBLE! Cara was such a pleasure to work with and not only beautiful on the outside, but from deep within...
