Ashton & Michael are engaged! /// Jacksonville Engagement Photographer

Through their love of nursing, Ashton and Michael's paths crossed. When Ashton was starting as a nurse, Michael was the one assigned to help Ashton at her first nursing job. Last November on a camping trip in Georgia, Michael proposed under an old fashioned covered bridge. This September they are getting married and the historic Florida park, Stephen Foster Park, where Michael's grandfather helped design the Florida trail. They have rented out cabins and I love how they are incorporating the uniqueness of their camping proposal into their wedding weekend as well. We drove over to the park for their engagement photos also and so Ashton could show me all the details of her upcoming wedding location. I love how Ashton brought props, like the old fashioned scrabble board, croquet set and yellow bikes! And when I asked them to stop on the side of the road to take advantage of the gorgeous yellow wildflowers, they were just as excited as I was!
