Originally from New York, Lauren and her groom Marc now live in Los Angeles, but chose to celebrate their wedding in the city they got engaged in, Miami, FL. They loved the idea of having a destination wedding where friends and family could gather and enjoy a vacation around South Beach at the same time.
The festivites kicked off with a hip Havana style rehearsal party and dinner at sunset at the eclectic Mondrian hotel in Miami's South Beach. The sounds of DJ Michael Sarysz played as guests of their wedding wore cuban hats, flowers in their hair, and smoked Cuban cigars. Here's a few of my favorites of the hotel and the party.
The next day, Lauren and Marc held their wedding at the gorgeous Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The historic mansion is nestled amongst what reminded me of the popular book and movie, The Secret Garden, with acres and acres of greenery, flower blossoms, and hanging oaks trees. Though the night welcomed an unplanned quick Florida shower, all of Lauren's details and decor looked absolutely stunning as guests sat at the long royal table overlooking the water and sunken ship in the harbor. Wow! This is one of the most beautiful weddings Ive seen. i love everything about it. The location, the flowers, the chairs, the Bride and Groom and most of all the PHOTOGRAPHER. FABULOUS SCARLETT AS USUAL!
Ahh, Vizcaya is so beautiful and these photos are wonderful. I've loved that Oscar de la Renta dress since I first saw it and these pictures of it are magical. Yay pretty pictures!!
