Ask and ye shall receive.
Because of this, I believe in using my blog, my little place here on the internet, to also help others and promote goodness in this world.
I've never met the people below. I've barely emailed with them. But I did receive an email they bravely sent me asking for help to get the word out to help them raise money for their own mission.
Here are 2 stories below of people that need YOUR help for a great cause.

1. AIDEN
Aiden helped pass out water at the marathon I ran.
From Aiden's mom:
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating life-shortening disease and in the United States, 1 in 3,900 children are born with it. Children born with CF do not live long and their only cure is lung transplantation. I’m Ilana Logvinov and I work at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Nurse Research Coordinator. My son, Aidan, who is 4 years old, has already learned the meaning of giving back to those in need. Most recently Aidan was volunteering with me and my husband at the water station during the 26.2 National Breast Cancer marathon in Jacksonville, Florida. Aidan is excited to participate in a Mini March for Cystic fibrosis to raise money for CF research.
Aidan told me, “Mommy, some kids are really sick and they can’t walk, so I will walk for them.” Children with CF wish to have good health and Aidan is willing to help those dreams come true. Aidan will complete Mini March on April 23, 2010 along with his friends from Providence Child Development Center at Jacksonville, Florida.
The Mini March will raise vital funds for Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Aidan’s personal goal is to raise at least $200. Aidan and I will greatly appreciate your help in reaching this target because it will benefit the children with CF.

Very cool of you to post this, Scarlett! I have Cystic Fibrosis and I'm currently trying to fundraise $15,000 for our Great Strides walk next month. We raised over $10,000 each year for the past few years, so I have no doubt that we will hit our goal thanks to the generosity of people like you! :)
That's awesome Cara! Leave another comment with your fundraising link here so that people can contribute to yours also!! :-)
Thanks, Scarlett!! The link is:

Scarlett- You're such and angel! Thanks so much!
Aidan-
You are a true hero. I wish you all the best.
Scarlett - thanks for posting this & helping the CF Foundation - we just donated to Aiden's event - and we know that CF will soon mean Cure FOUND! GO AIDEN!
