Giving a little more.
Sometimes I look back on things I created and am bewildered at how I created it. Like the detailed models and drawings I used to do in my architecture days of college. Or the Christian teen magazine, Beautiful Girl, that I published right after college that went on to become one of the Top 30 magazines launched in 2003. Or even a video I created for a Christian music video contest with Shawn McDonald. I look back on things like that and go, "Yep, definitely a God thing b/c no way could I have created it on my own."
When in California, Mark and I had our first movie theater date night to go see "The Soloist." It was one of those movies that really opens your eyes to the heart and minds of homeless people and how it goes beyond "Why can't they just get a job?" Walking out of theater reminded me of the video I made for the contest, with the concept of the video being about how we can give a little more Jesus in people's lives, such as the homeless.
Rewatching it, I still can't believe I, me, Scarlett, made that video and how all the elements lined up perfectly that day to film those who so willingly participated in the video as my friend and I walked the streets of St. Augustine on a whim hoping to capture some footage for the contest. Definitely a God thing.
So I just wanted to share it all of you because it was fun to rewatch all these years later.

I'm on the left side, and it's called "A Little More". Though I didn't win the contest, I was excited to place Top 11!

I love Shawn's music, so this was super cool to see that you've worked with him.
What I love/find hilarious about this post: http://abhutchison.blogspot.com/2008/10/shawn-mcdonald-at-charlotteone.html
Taken approximately 2 months after I got my first SLR. ;-)
Did you really just get your first SLR in 2006?!
Yep! I was doing videography before that.
