Exactly why I love what I do!

I'm so blessed to have the best job in the world. I just totally cried at this sweet email that came in from the bride and groom, Emily and Ryan, whose wedding I shot on Saturday:

"Scarlett!

Ryan and I love the teaser shots! The only thing bad about the pictures is we thought we were anxious to get the rest of the pics before! Now, we are too excited for words! We appreciate everything you did Saturday to help make our wedding so special and memorable for both of us. As we were talking over the day and reliving it (again and again and....you get the idea), we both decided the pictures on the beach was our favorite part of the wedding! I don’t know if you noticed (though I’m pretty sure you did), Ryan and I are uncomfortable in front of the camera and terrible at taking nice pictures. Somehow, you were able to make us come out of our shells and we really opened up and you helped us take what we know will be sexy and romantic and fun pictures of our wedding! We loved how you made us feel like supermodels!

I can’t say enough good things about you and how you captured our day! We were talking this morning, and while we’re glad you and Mark are doing so well and that you may move to California, we are selfishly sad because when we have children, we want you to take pictures of our family. The only thing to do, we decided, is to take our children (when we have them!) to California for vacation and have you take their pictures there!! :)

Thank you so much for everything you did for our wedding. Really, we thought the photography was the best part (and we haven’t even seen all the pictures yet!)!
