I continue to be humbled by doors of opportunity that the sweet Lord opens for my career. Last week I got a call from the fabulous Sara France asking me to participate in an interview podcast on the Pictage blog. To this day, I still pinch myself, like, me? You want to interview me? It seems like it was just a short 3 years ago that I was a videographer attending a Pictage User Group to model for a bunch of photographers, who in return inspired me to become a photographer. During the interview podcast with Sara, I had a great chat also with Denver photographer Katie Van Buren about the beauty of Pictage User Groups and fostering community in our industry. The end of last year I started the Jacksonville chapter, and we've been having a great time getting together each month discussing all the new things Pictage is launching and networking with other photographers. I'm excited to announce too that celebrity photographer Denis Reggie will be coming soon to Jacksonville to speak at our PUG, so stay tuned for more details on the date and time! I heard Denis speak at the first PartnerCon I went to when I was starting out as a photographer, and he's notably known for shooting JFK, Jr.'s wedding, and the creator of "foofing."
