iLove my iPhone... too much!

I know that I am, like, the last person in the world to get an iPhone.

I almost didn't let myself get one because I knew once I did, I would get addicted. That is also why I have avoided Blackberry's up until this point and kept it simple with a very basic phone that could barely do text messages.

But I finally got the iPhone a few days ago, though not letting myself open the box until last night.

Then from the moment I got up this morning, I, seriously, have been playing around with it all day. No, really, ALL day.

I finally took a break at 6pm to have dinner with my parents. But even then, I whipped it out to give my parents the exclusive iTour. It was the strangest feeling checking email in between bites of dinner. I almost don't like the ball and chain that is.

It amazes how a 3-inch toy can suck you into it's iWorld. It reminds me of when I was younger and my mom had to ban me from playing video games. I became obsessed with capturing the dang Princess in Mario Brothers, that I formed breathing problems. No, really. It got so bad to the point that my mom had to take me to the doctor who then diagnosed me with "frequent sign syndrome" aka "Stop letting your kid play too much video games and make her go outside and play like the rest of the world!" So that was the end of my end of my video playing game days.

Without realizing it, people point out from time to time that I still unconsciously take deep breaths as if something is wrong or that I'm anxious, but really, I'm ok. Just an old habit, I guess. So if you are ever around me and you hear me sigh, I'm all good. Promise.

It's funny though how certain things can make it flare up again. Like for instance, half of why I was on the iPhone all day was because I was having issues synching my website email with it. So of course this induced a tad of anxiety. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I can't figure something out. I even wrote that in a Q&A thing printed in my 7th grade yearbook. So all day, I tuned out the rest the world until I FINALLY got everything synched accordingly. Now I'm relieved to know I can enjoy the luxury of why I bought the iPhone in the first place.

Oh yeah, there are a ton of other cool features too I was having fun exploring and customizing, like my logo wallpaper (simply a picture I took from the iPhone of my custom ShootSac cover!). It's funny how even as adults, we still can feel that same joy of a new toy like a kid in a candy store. The Apple store is always my candy store, that's for sure!

hahha...I do those sighs too and people are ALWAYS assuming something is wrong, and I'm like "no, I'm fine, just breathing." I must say his was once an issue with a boyfriend of mine...he was always assuming something was wrong or I was mad at him, when really I was just taking in the scenery or the conversation, haha.

Love the iPhone!

Cory- Yeah, I'm curious to see now how the reception is everywhere. Tmobile had hardly any coverage during my last travels, while everyone on their iPhone had a signal. That was one reason I finally broke down and got it!

Danielle- So cool! We still need to meet one of these days you are in town!

Rachie- I never noticed that about you! You would think after like 15 years I would have. :-)
