Hallelujah!
After my doctor called with the results today, I fell to the floor and said what felt like 20,000 thank you's. I couldn't think of a more incredible gift God could give me for Thanksgiving this year.
And your prayers are what I'm most thankful for. You provided such a strength for me in a time that my world was turned upside down. And 20,000 thank you's will never be enough to express my gratitude for all my friends here in blogger land.
I pray that each of your Thanksgivings are filled with joy and happiness and peace as the world stops around us and we reflect on the good and blessings in each of our lives.
What are you thankful for this year? Leave a comment and let me know so I can join you in praise!
This will be my first year not eating Turkey since going vegetarian this year, but I thought I would share this photo I took of a turkey a few weeks ago during Lori and Jason's engagement session at the fair. Looking at the turkey, it's times like this I stand in awe of all the little details God puts into his each of His creations. I never realized turkeys were such beautiful creatures before seeing this one.

Hi! I read your blog regularly and although I don't know you personally, the wonderful world of blogging can make it seem otherwise. I really have been follwing along because I'm going through the same cancer possibility right now and at only 20 what a scary thing. Praise the Lord for your wonderful results! Amazing how even the possibility of something so huge can put life in perspective so quickly...
I wish you best of luck in the coming year!

Sometimes I get caught up in my own little world, but you came across my mind when I signed on to myspace, and then I immediately thought about your test. . .
Anyways....I've been reading your blog posts since today, and finally came to this post, and I was thrilled to read your results!
God is awesome, and Yes...what a thanksgiving blessing!
Scarlett, I had no idea that you had such a scary time recently. Holy cow...what a scary time for you and I'm sure a lot of reflection. I'm so glad to hear that things turned out to be such good news. You have been a gift to so many people as these comments show.
Awww Davina! I miss you! I so can't wait to see you again at the Love Affair workshop! Thanks for your sweet words.
Jessica- No worries! Thanks for reading my blog in the moments you are able to!
I thought you were the one who went through this last year. I got on here to see what the result was. Yeah! Also I wanted to let you know that I am going to try the 3-Day walk again. I registered 2 years ago and raised $1,300, but got pregnant. I've set up a Cafe Press shop with some breast cancer awareness items I've designed (still working on more). I'm also brainstorming for a 12 month photo calendar. I've thought about taking photos myself of my girlfriends and girlie things. Then I thought of you. Not sure yet, but wanted to shoot the idea at you if you'd like to have your photography featured in it (pro-bono of course). I'm thinking pink boas, make up, purses, shoes, girls having fun, Generational photos (like my g-mom, mom, me and daughter).

That's awesome April what you are doing to help out for the cause!
