50,000 friends.

So last night I was doing some math. I was looking at all my stats of my websites since their conception last year. Between my old blog and this new blog, I have had over 50,000 unique visitors following my journey, and over 75,000 page loads. That number totally floored me that so many people would take such interest in my rambling words and photos all this time. Especially when I look at the visitor map and see people who follow my blog in countries I can't even pronounce.

So I want to know, of all the blogs and websites out there in cyberspace, how did you find MY blog??? And what is it that keeps you coming back?

Leave a me a comment and let me know! And thanks for being here!

A lot of new photos coming soon... Lots of editing on my To Do list right now!

who knows what keeps me coming back? Kidding! I love good design and I love good photos. I had a small background in graphic design so seeing a cool blog is inspiring and gets me ideas for my own once I can afford a designer, though I may choose a different color scheme ha! I am just starting out in the portrait and wedding photography biz and I am always checking out awesome photographers to get ideas and inspiration from and you most definitely fit that bill! Thanks for the great stuff and I look forward to seeing more!

Hi Scarlett! I was introduced to your blog/website this past summer after my sister showed me the pictures and video of Susan and Matt's wedding (they were my sister's Young Life leaders!). Ever since, I've been hooked and I check almost daily for new pictures and entries! Your work is amazing and I love reading about your faith and the role it has played in your life. As a fellow Christian in her early 20s, I've found your blog to be so inspriring...especially your continuous reference to God's perfect timing. I too am very anxious to meet Mr. Right, but after reading about your faith in God's plan for us I realized that worrying/thinking about it constantly isn't going to bring me to Mr. Right any faster! Thank you for speaking so openly about your relationship with God. I'm sure you're inspiring more people than you'll ever know!

i found your blog because my sister went to college with I believe her name is Corina? I saw her wedding pictures on your site cause my sister told me how pretty they were and i have not stopped coming back since then! then to find out you loved the seminoles? that was awesome! so i stuck around and sure enough reading what you write is very inspirational, i want to be a writer and so after reading your blog with about one or two more i feel inspired to write for school or myself and it helps me reveal some of the things i need to say. I think you're a fantastic person :) - Dannielle R.

I was looking at photography websites and found your name. I loved your name so I started looking at your pictures and your blog. I am hooked to say the least. To find out that you were a Christian and not afraid to say it was a breath of fresh air. I think your pictures are awesome and your story of what you have been through are inspiring. I waited on pins and needles, (while praying), for you to get the results. Praise God!!
I have 2 Nikon cameras that my husband bought me because I wanted to play around taking pictures of our 2 teenage girls and have started taking pictures of friends and family. I'm still learning.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent. It is inspiring to know that one day I might be as good as you.
Thanks,
Kim

Hi Scarlett,

I have recently been an avid follower of yours since I discovered you listening to a podcast while working. I heard your web site and decided to visit and loved everything about it. You have an awesome colorful vision. In addition to that you are an avid follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, so that naturally intrigued me a little more. You are humble and genuinely a nice person.

I've read blog entries and have been keeping you in my prayers all along. I hope you continue with your blog entries. They are interesting and your photography is great.

Take care,

Kristin-

I found your blog through OSP but what really keeps me coming here is your inspiring stories, along with great photos of course! But I find your faith so refreshing that I just want to keep reading! I think it's great when people can be open about their relationship with God in a world that can sometimes make us forget Him.

I found your ad in The Knot and went to your website. Much to my surprise and delight I discovered you were my neighbor! I am in Brunswick GA. So you can stop wondering who is stalking you from Brunswick!!! I am a baby photographer and your work inspires me. After several months of following your work I found myself looking for more color in my shots and I finally feel as though I am making my photography my own after several years of looking for my "groove"! If you are ever in need of a second shooter I would love the opportunity to shoot beside you!! My website is tracyaphotography.com - please let me know what you think! Your love for God is also inspiring! Keep up the good work!

Hi, Scarlett!!
I found your blog when Amy Wenzel posted the pictures she took of you on her blog. I'm a college student majoring in Vocal Performance (Opera), and Amy's taking my headshots, so I've been checking out her blog for a while now. I'm also getting into photography, so I have several blogs that I "stalk". I love your images, and it's so refreshing to hear a photographer talk so freely about her love for the Lord! That's what keeps me coming back!
