My little eskimo.
And my poor little Rhett, the whole 9 pounds he is, I know it must be chilly to him, so I whipped out a cute blue parka last night that I got him last year. Last year it never got cold enough for him to wear, so this was his first wearing it and ohhhhh, just melt a mother's a heart, he looked so darn cute!
Also the past few days, I've been getting a ton of new lighting equipment for some BIG BIG BIG things coming up, so as always, I was testing things out on Rhett.
Isn't he just the cutest thing ever?????
He and I are sooooo excited for next week when we will be adopting his girlfriend Maggie! Maggie is the sweetest toy poodle, about half of Rhett's size, and currently belongs to a friend of mine who is moving and can't keep her anymore, so I'm adopting her so Rhett can have a playmate! I actually always wanted a girl from the beginning, and when I was puppy shopping, I went back to get a girl pup I had picked out, but someone else had already taken her home. Then my mom was like "What about this cute poodle?" I was like "Ohhhhh mom, a poodle is sooooo cliche, AND it's a boy, I can't dress a boy in cute pink frilly dog outfits!" BUT I picked up Rhett out of the pin and he instantly melted in my arms, and that was it, he stole my heart almost 5 years ago! I can't believe how BIG my little boy is getting! But we're excited to add Maggie to the family, and I'll of course post photos soon! Here's one I shot real quick with my point and shoot when they met a few months ago!
Stay warm everyone!

Cute!!! I felt the same way about getting a boy dog, but I love my little Peanut! And he LOVES to pose for the camera and get dressed up. Sometimes I want to buy him girl clothes, but my hubby stops me. : ) Plus the little Pom down the street, Moxie, might get confused if her boyfriend is cross-dressing.
I am glad Rhett will have a dogmate now...sweet puppy. xoxoxo
p.s. I won't be at WPPI this year :(
too much going on at home
Look at the picture of the two of them....Rhett is already grinning from ear to ear!! ;-)
Seriously adorable! Don't dogs make such great kids? :)
Ohhhh, I love the little parka! There's NO way could manage to get my 80 pound lab pup into a parka, but I was able to get some shots of him wearing an elf hat for our family Christmas card. :) Congrats on adding a new addition to your little family!
